Disconnecting a channel
You can remove a channel yourself. Open its menu on the calendar page and choose Delete. Delete its posts first, because a channel with posts cannot be removed.
- For networks where you paste a credential, removal clears the saved credential and the channel’s saved details.
- For networks that use the network’s own sign-in, removal also starts revoking the access you granted and cleaning up the saved data and analytics. For YouTube this revokes this Google account’s permissions for PostDelegate’s Google project, which also affects your other connected YouTube channels from the same account. Your videos stay on YouTube.
- Posts already published on a network stay there. Deleting a post in PostDelegate does not take it off the network.
You can also revoke access from the network’s side, for example by deleting an app password. PostDelegate will then show the channel as needing a reconnect.
Deleting your account and data
To delete your account or ask what we hold about you, follow the instructions on the data deletion page, or email [email protected] from the address on your account. We may need to confirm that you own the account before acting. Never send passwords, API keys or tokens by email.
Credentials and keys
- Credentials you paste when connecting a channel are encrypted before they are stored.
- Rotate your API key in Settings > Agents / Dev if you think it leaked. The old key stops working immediately.
- Revoke an AI assistant’s access in Settings > Apps > Approved Apps.
