How to schedule Twitch Chat Messages
- Sign in with Twitch. On the calendar page choose Add Channel, then Twitch. Sign in with Twitch and approve the permissions. PostDelegate asks to read and write chat messages and to manage announcements in your chat.
- Write the message. Choose Create Post and select the Twitch channel. Write the message, up to 500 characters of text.
- Choose message type and colour. Set Message Type to Chat Message, the default, or Announcement. For an announcement, pick the Announcement Color.
- Schedule it. Pick a date and time and choose Add to Calendar. Follow-up entries are sent as replies to the first message, or as further announcements when Announcement is chosen.
What you can publish to Twitch
Twitch is a live-streaming platform, and a scheduled message is a way to put a reminder, a schedule or a link in chat at a set time. Each post is sent to your channel's chat from your own Twitch account, up to 500 characters of text.
You can send a regular chat message or an announcement, which Twitch highlights in chat. For an announcement you can choose Primary, Blue, Green, Orange or Purple. Messages are text only, so images and video are not sent.
- Sign in with Twitch from Add Channel.
- Write a chat message of up to 500 characters.
- Choose Chat Message or Announcement, and a colour for announcements.

Before connecting
- Messages are text only. Images and video are not sent.
- If Twitch stops accepting the saved sign-in, the channel asks you to reconnect and scheduled messages will not send until you do.
Read the Twitch guide in our documentation for connection steps, post settings and troubleshooting.
Plan Twitch with the rest of your channels
Twitch sits on the same calendar as every other channel you connect. In one post you can pick several channels, write the content once and adjust it for each, and every channel keeps its own settings. Save a draft to review a post first, choose Add to Calendar to schedule it, or choose Post now to send it immediately. The scheduling guide covers drafts, repeats, previews and time slots.
Use Claude or ChatGPT with Twitch
PostDelegate runs an MCP server, so an assistant you already use can look at your Twitch channel, read its rules and create a draft for you to review. AI is bring-your-own, and PostDelegate never charges for it. Setup guides: Claude, ChatGPT, and what a social media MCP server is.
Review the whole post
Check the destination, wording, media and time before scheduling. Look at the result in your workspace after publication; a queued item is not a published-post confirmation.
