Pricing and trial

Publer builds each price from the number of social accounts and extra members you choose. Professional starts at $5 a month and Business at $10 a month, each for one account with no extra members, and the total goes up as you add more. Every tenth account or member is free, and yearly billing gives two months free. Publer also has a free plan for three accounts, excluding X, with ten scheduled posts per account and a 24-hour post history.

PostDelegate prices a plan, not an account. Starter is $19 a month for 5 channels, Team $29 for 10 channels with team members, and Pro $39 for 30 channels. The price stays the same whether you connect one channel or the full allowance, and team plans are not priced per member. Yearly billing is about 20% less; see the pricing page.

For one or two accounts, Publer is likely to cost less, and its free plan costs nothing. As accounts and members grow, a flat plan becomes easier to predict, so work out the totals for your own numbers with Publer’s calculator. Publer offers a 7-day trial of Professional and a 14-day trial of Business. PostDelegate offers a 7-day free trial on every plan that needs no credit card; add a card before the trial ends to keep your plan.

AI

Publer’s Business plan includes unlimited AI Assist prompts. PostDelegate takes a bring-your-own approach. An admin adds the workspace’s own OpenAI API key, and AI writing, the Agent and AI images run on that key. You pay OpenAI directly for what you use, and PostDelegate never charges for AI. If you would rather not hold an API key, Publer’s included prompts are simpler.

Both services let outside assistants work with the calendar. Publer offers an MCP server and its API on Business and Enterprise. PostDelegate’s MCP server, public REST API and webhooks come with every plan, including Starter, so Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code and other MCP clients can draft and schedule posts from the start. Drafts from an assistant can wait in the AI review inbox until a person approves them.

Workflow

The two overlap a good deal here. Publer has bulk scheduling from a CSV, post recycling, content ideas, workspaces and approval workflows when you add members. PostDelegate has bulk CSV import, evergreen posts that recycle on a schedule, campaigns and an ideas board, post statuses and a media library that takes uploads up to 1 GB. Where PostDelegate differs is client review: clients can approve a post from a link without an account, and assistant drafts have their own review inbox. Analytics keep daily history and show trends, best times to post and reports (for networks that share statistics; today YouTube).

Channels

PostDelegate connects 14 networks today: YouTube, Bluesky, Slack, Tumblr, Lemmy, Nostr, Twitch, Kick, Dribbble, DEV.to, Medium, WordPress, Hashnode, Listmonk (email). Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, X, Threads, Pinterest and others are coming soon and open as each platform approves PostDelegate. They cannot be connected yet.

  • Which plan includes the API and MCP, if you automate your work.
  • How you want to pay for AI: included in the plan, or on your own key.
  • The support, subscription and data-handling terms of each service.
