ChatGPT drafts it. You approve it. PostDelegate posts it.Twitch: Chat messages and announcements in your channel.
How to post to Twitch from ChatGPT
- Add PostDelegate to ChatGPT. In ChatGPT open Settings, then Connectors, then Create. If you cannot create one, look for a developer mode switch under advanced settings, or ask your workspace admin. Name it PostDelegate, paste the server URL below and choose OAuth. Choose Create, then Connect, sign in to PostDelegate and click Authorize.

https://app.postdelegate.com/mcp-oauth-dynamicCustom connectors depend on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings, which OpenAI controls.
- Connect Twitch in PostDelegate. On the calendar page choose Add Channel, then Twitch. Sign in with Twitch and approve the permissions. PostDelegate asks to read and write chat messages and to manage announcements in your chat.
- Ask ChatGPT for a draft. Describe the post in plain words. ChatGPT checks your Twitch channel's rules, creates the post and sends back a preview link.
Teach ChatGPT the posting rules
Paste the PostDelegate instructions into a custom GPT or a Project, with the connector enabled there, so ChatGPT follows the posting rules in every chat. Agent files has the steps.
What to ask ChatGPT
Mention any Twitch setting in plain words and ChatGPT fills it in. Start with something harmless, like asking which channels you have.
- Schedule a Twitch announcement in purple for Friday at 19:55: “Stream starts in five minutes.”
- Draft three chat messages for tonight’s stream, each under 500 characters, one every half hour from 20:00.
What ChatGPT can do on your Twitch channel
- Check the rules first. Before writing, it reads your Twitch channel's length limit (500 characters) and required settings.
- Draft, schedule or post. It creates a draft, a scheduled post or an immediate post, and runs the same checks as the app.
- Use your media. It attaches files from your media library or adds one from a public link.
- Review and fix. It lists what is scheduled, changes the Twitch settings of a post that has not gone out, and deletes posts you no longer want.
Twitch is a live-streaming platform, and a scheduled message is a way to put a reminder, a schedule or a link in chat at a set time. Each post is sent to your channel's chat from your own Twitch account, up to 500 characters of text.

| Announcement Color | Shown for announcements. Primary (the default), Blue, Green, Orange or Purple. |
Before you start
- Messages are text only. Images and video are not sent.
- If Twitch stops accepting the saved sign-in, the channel asks you to reconnect and scheduled messages will not send until you do.
The Twitch channel guide has every field, and MCP tools lists exactly what an assistant can and cannot do.
